Privacy & Affiliate Disclosure

Overview
NumberBench provides browser-based calculators, benchmark comparisons, and educational reference material. Most calculator inputs are processed on your device. We do not intentionally receive or store the values you enter into calculator fields unless a page clearly asks you to submit information.
Information collected automatically
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand site traffic and product use. Google Analytics may receive information such as the page viewed, approximate location derived from an IP address, browser and device characteristics, referring page, and interactions with the site. We do not send calculator field values to Google Analytics.
Our hosting and security providers may process standard request logs, including IP address, requested URL, timestamp, and browser information, to deliver and protect the site.
Advertising and cookies
NumberBench uses Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies to deliver, limit, personalize, and measure advertising, subject to their settings and applicable requirements. Device-local storage
The site may store preferences on your device, including recently viewed calculators, the Essentials/All-inputs display choice, dismissed prompts, a saved state or location choice, and short-lived public-data caches. Clearing site data in your browser removes these preferences.
Location features
Location access is requested only after you choose the location feature. When supported, coordinates are matched to a state on your device and NumberBench stores only the resulting state preference locally. NumberBench does not intentionally transmit precise coordinates to its own servers. Your browser, operating system, network provider, and the public map host may process information needed to provide the feature.
Community benchmarks
If a community-comparison feature is enabled, it will explain what is submitted and ask before sending a value. Community results are shown only in aggregate and only after a minimum sample threshold. These features are not currently used to collect ordinary calculator inputs.
Affiliate disclosure
Some clearly identified outbound links may be affiliate links. If you purchase through one, NumberBench may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not change calculator results or benchmark verdicts. Sponsored links are shown only when a real partner destination is configured and are marked as sponsored.
Retention and choices
Calculator values that remain on your device are cleared when you refresh or close the page unless the page says otherwise. Third-party analytics, advertising, and hosting providers retain data according to their own settings and policies. You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser, use Google’s advertising controls, or use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Some site features or advertising may work differently after blocking storage.
Your privacy requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal information processed by NumberBench. To ask a privacy question or make a request, email privacy@numberbench.com. We may need enough information to verify and respond to the request. Because ordinary calculator values are not sent to us, we generally cannot retrieve those values.
Children
NumberBench is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit personal information through contact channels if you are not permitted to do so.
Changes and contact
